Our Mission is to help community based organizations create healthy neighborhoods that are good places to live, work, raise children and conduct business.

We are a lender, advocate, funder, broker and technical assistance provider. Working with, through and for nonprofit organizations, we use our resources to:

• Redevelop vacant and deteriorating properties, returning them to productive use as:
  • Housing for homebuyers and renters
  • Commercial, office and industrial space
  • Childcare centers, health centers, community centers, etc
• Preserve existing affordable housing
• Construct new affordable housing, shopping centers, office buildings, industrial centers and community facilities
• Foster leadership, community building and civic engagement at the neighborhood level
• Advocate for public policies and resources which helps to revitalize our neighborhoods
• Strengthen the operating and program capacity of nonprofits
