We develop and advocate for strategies to combat displacement, promote healthy housing, and increase affordable housing stock. Our research and policy recommendations help attract and retain jobs, promote reliable transportation options, and support development of real estate that local businesses can afford.
The Boston Foundation, CHAPA and LISC are facilitating a discussion series following a call to action for Massachusetts leaders to take our responses to the housing crisis to the next level.
We are working with Massachusetts communities containing designated opportunity zones, to build their capacity to drive community-driven strategies for inclusive growth and attract investment.
LISC is committed to supporting an equitable, scalable transition to a carbon free future. Toward that end, LISC’s recent policy work has focused on driving adequate incentives and training for Passive House, a high performance energy standard with measurable health benefits.
