New Year, New Program Structure
In case you haven’t heard, we’re now LISC Connecticut! What began in 1984 as a program office focused solely on Hartford, has 36 years later morphed into a dynamic, statewide program. For the last 20 years, LISC Hartford and LISC Connecticut Statewide (CTSW) have shared staff and office space. To streamline administrative functions and better align programs, it made business sense to merge these two programs. As of January 1, 2020 we are henceforth known as LISC Connecticut.
Not to worry – we’ll still have a strong presence in Hartford and the Hartford Neighborhood Development Support Collaborative will continue to provide the same financial and technical assistance to CDCs as it has since its founding in 1995. As we embark on our 36th year serving Connecticut, we hope you will join us as a partner in creating communities of opportunity – great places to live, work, do business, and raise families.
