Through the comprehensive approach LISC takes, we work to create equitable housing, businesses, education, health, job placement, and safety all at once. We see communities as a whole, not just as parts, and we are working toward creating better places for individuals from all walks of life to live, work, do business, and raise families.

We invested $18.6 million and leveraged $33.9 million in impact-focused investments, ramped up our work to close racial health, wealth, and opportunity gaps, forged exciting partnerships and much more.
In Greater Cincinnati since 2000...
In 2021, a new normal emerged. For many, pandemic precautions fell away. The economy made gains as people returned to work and students returned to the classroom, but that improvement has not been experienced equally in our community. Too many in the greater Cincinnati region are still struggling, facing housing, health, and economic challenges.
2020 has been unexpected, but we have been endlessly impressed by the ability of our community partners to find new ways to engage in the necessary housing, economic development and place-making activity and address the increasing need faced by neighbors in the communities we serve. Our partners are making a difference!
