Join LISC Philadelphia in congratulating Jessica Collazo on her Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporation (PACDC) "Rising Star" award. PACDC recognizes young professionals who work at member organizations—both CDCs and Associate Members. The goal is to encourage young professionals to pursue careers in community development and to provide training and peer-support to enhance their success.
Jess' work at LISC includes leading and supporting economic development and equitable revitalization; working alongside community based organizations serving the needs of unemployed and underemployed residents. Jess serves as a champion to partner organizations connecting job seekers to opportunities that not only serve their immediate need for job placement, but critical access to job placement and financial coaching to yield financial stability and seed career pathways.
