What We Offer

As an investor, LISC strategically invest and leverage the flow of capital to community-based organizations (CBOs), nonprofits and other partners serving communities with underdeveloped assets. We have various types of capital to in our tool box including, grants, recoverable grants, and debt.

We provide loans, grants, and technical assistance to local organizations for projects and programs that strengthen neighborhoods of choice and opportunity. Our loans and equity investments finance affordable housing, mixed-use projects, supermarkets, cultural centers, schools, health centers, and other vital community enterprises. 

As funding is available, LISC provides grants to address affordable housing, commercial corridors, income and wealth building, community safety, resident leadership, and arts & culture. Through national partnerships, LISC is also able to provide limited support for youth basketball courts and football fields.
