Who We Are
Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is a national organization with a community focus. Our program staff are based in cities and rural areas where LISC-supported community development takes shape. In collaboration with local community development groups, LISC staff help identify priorities and challenges, delivering the most appropriate support to meet local needs.
LISC Phoenix was formed in 1992 and since its inception has collaborated with place-based organizations and our corporate, foundation and public partners to create an innovative approach to working with neighborhoods that face systemic challenges.
