LISC National
Our Work

Economic Development

Rural LISC has developed a multidisciplinary framework to guide its economic development efforts. This approach leverages market demand to generate and expand quality jobs while making those opportunities accessible to underinvested communities and individuals. Our work creates accessible opportunities for people to find jobs that increase their income and assets, and, at the same time, it grows businesses and rebuilds community economies through integrated strategies that develop workforce and financial stability, districts and infrastructure, and small businesses.

Rural Works

A new Rural LISC initiative, Rural Works was formed to leverage the momentum of rural communities to reimagine and redevelop the workforce systems that impact their communities.
