LISC Virginia and the Women’s Business Center of Richmond announced today their partnership on the BIPOC Small Business Capital Access Fund to provide capital and coaching to Black, Indigenous, or other People of Color (BIPOC)-owned small businesses in the Richmond area.

Denise Scott has four decades of experience working to bridge gaps in health, wealth and opportunity throughout the country, particularly for underserved communities of color. Now, she joins Lisa Glover, who will continue to lead the organization as interim CEO, to drive the organization's expanded impact in communities and fuel its continued growth.
Kiva is an online micro-loan crowdfunding platform that provides 0% interest zero-fee loans up to $15,000 to small businesses. MBL is the first Kiva Trustee for Central Virginia. As a trustee, they will publicly endorse small businesses for loan funding and provide essential support to their application process.
