Once a dilapidated area on Buffalo's East Side, Perkins Park was the site of a ground breaking ceremony for a new sports complex. The complex will include a youth football field, ball hockey rink, and programs foor other sports like lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, tennis, and more.
The walls are up and the roof is installed at the Massachusetts Avenue Project's Farmhouse - future home to their community food training center and two affordable apartments. LISC is providing a $1.36 million construction loan for this project!
