The LISC Story Slam is an evening of storytelling to benefit LISC Boston. Join us on October 6, 2022 for the 4th annual Story Slam which will feature compelling personal stories from community members and LISC partners responding to a common theme: The Color of Impact. Their stories, filled with humor, pain, energy, love, reflections, and more, will offer perspectives on embarking on new chapters – and what it means for our collective work creating stable, affordable and healthy housing and economic opportunity; building financial stability, promoting racial equity and building thriving communities. Register for your free tickets today.

LISC Story Slam takes place at Artists for Humanity, 100 W 2nd St in Boston. Like last year, Theresa Okokon will return as our event host. In addition to our storytellers featured below, we will also celebrate the Builders of Color Coalition and Secretary Mike Kennealy, for their roles in uplifting and supporting communities and community development work in Massachusetts. Rounding out the evening, local restaurants will provide a selection of global bites with live musical performances by Simpli Whitney to stir the soul.

This will be an event not to miss!
