Our work relies on the insight, experience and expertise of community-based organizations who engage residents in the work of neighborhood renewal. The better they do their job, the greater impact we can make together. Through training, technical assistance and funding, we help them to do their best work.

LISC AmeriCorps places passionate, dedicated people with community development groups in the neighborhoods where we work.
HUD Section 4 Capacity Building Grants
Section 4 grants go to local community groups who are dedicated to economic development and creating affordable housing. This work is part of LISC's long-running capacity-building efforts with the critical partners whose work helps create more vibrant, inclusive economies and opportunities for residents of under-served communities.
