As we move into the new year, the LISC Greater Cincinnati team has a great deal to look forward to, and much work to do! Over the past year we have been working diligently on our new strategic plan, which will be finalized soon. From that work came a list of goals we have for 2024 and beyond. Affordable Housing
LISC helps make quality housing affordable to low and moderate-income and vulnerable residents — from seniors to veterans to the formerly unhoused by producing quality affordable housing, preserving existing housing, and providing capacity building and technical assistance support to non-profit community development corporations. Community development opportunities are plentiful in Cincinnati, particularly as public and private sector partners invest in community development real estate projects and help bring housing and economic development to disinvested neighborhoods. In 2024, we commit to:
Financial Opportunity Centers
LISC Greater Cincinnati supports programs that help community members access good jobs, increase their income, and build wealth to close the racial health, wealth, and opportunity gaps. LISC Cincinnati operates three Financial Opportunity Center® (FOCs), which provide skills training, employment placement and career improvement, financial education and coaching, and public benefits access.
