Please join us in congratulating Ephraim Palmero on his promotion to Program Officer, Policy and Engagement. Ephraim joined LISC in May 2022 and has been instrumental in advancing LISC Indy’s food systems and social determinants of health portfolio including key health initiatives like the Equitable Food Access Initiative, Diabetes Impact Project, and NFL Foundation Grassroots Program.
In his new role, Ephraim will continue to provide expertise, technical assistance, and program management to develop an equitable, sustainable, and scalable food systems program that integrates with other comprehensive community development investments and programs including housing, small business, workforce development, and education. In addition, he will support LISC Indy’s advocacy work to secure additional tools and resources to advance our office’s community development strategy. Ephraim will also support fund development, relationship building, and marketing/communications.
