May - Small Business Month

The month of May is known as Small Business Month.  Small Business are corporations, partnerships or sole proprietorships which have fewer employees and or less annual revenue than a regular sized business or corporation.  IRS categorizes small businesses as 500 employees or less.  Or 50 employees or less dependent on individual tax law statues.  Small businesses are the most important piece of our economy. For generations they have shaped the American life and prosperity.
