LISC, in partnership with the City of Providence, completed the third year of facility improvement and expansion grant funding for Providence-based child care providers. The program was funded in part by an allocation of the City’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
Governor Dan McKee was joined by Rhode Island’s Congressional delegation, Lt. Governor Sabina Matos, the Department of Human Services (DHS), and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Rhode Island to announce $8.5 million in first-round funding from the Early Childhood Care and Educational Capital (ECCE) Fund.
LISC Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Department of Human Services will hold a joint information session on Wednesday, June 15th at 11 am via Zoom. The session is open to all Rhode Island early learning and child care providers and interested stakeholders.
