HUD Section 4
Our work hinges on the insight, experience, and expertise of local organizations working together to promote inclusive economic development in San Diego.
We provide HUD Section 4 grant funding and technical assistance to support capacity building and economic development and affordable housing initiatives. Some examples of programs and projects supported by HUD Section 4 include the creation and expansion of small businesses, creative place-making projects, and planning for the development of affordable housing.
HUD Section 4 funding currently supports the work of the City Heights Economic Development Collaborative, and the Little Saigon Cultural District Working Group. HUD Section 4 funding also supports the LISC San Diego Roundtable Series on affordable housing, organized by the San Diego Housing Federation
