What is the Bridges Network?

LISC Indianapolis regularly convenes the Indianapolis Bridges Network of seven sites to enhance collaboration, improve training coordination, and streamline data collection and evaluation.

LISC also supports establishing and strengthening partnerships between the Bridges Network and local employers, namely those in Healthcare; Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics; Manufacturing; Construction; Technology; and Human Services. These partnerships help the Network implement job-appropriate skills training programs and ultimately connect more participants to promising jobs.

What is a Bridges Employer Partner?

A Bridges Employer Partner supports the vision and goals of the Indianapolis Bridges Network by sponsoring community-based training programs, sharing key insights on their company’s hiring objectives, participating in employer-focused trainings on skills-based hiring, and prioritizing Bridges participants in their talent acquisition activities.

Bridges Employer Partners also benefit from consistent promotion of employment opportunities to Bridges sites and participants. Bridges sites regularly tailor and refine skills training programs to ensure that participants are prepared to attain and succeed in promising jobs with Bridges Employer Partners.
