Century Design Workshop

About the project

Century Design Workshop was formed in 2016 as a partnership between Susannah Tisue and her husband Michael Miritello to combine their two businesses SKT Ceramics and Michael Miritello, Inc. SKT Ceramics and Michael Miritello founded their businesses in Brooklyn, New York and have steadily grown over the last several years. SKT Ceramics currently wholesales to over a hundred stores nationwide and was a vendor at the Brooklyn Flea from 2009-2016. Michael Miritello made high-end custom furniture and displays for artists, architects, and private clients by commission in New York from 2008-2016 and is now working on a handcrafted furniture line.

Century Design Workshop is based in Cincinnati, OH.

A $308,327 construction loan from LISC is assisting Century Design Workshop to purchase and renovate a commercial warehouse for their operations. Loan proceeds are being used to develop 2,000 square feet of manufacturing space, a 200-square foot office space, 800 square feet of storage and employee amenities, a 1,500-square foot storefront, a 330-square foot studio space, and 1,170 square feet of material loading, packaging, and shipping space. This project supports the re-use of a vacant property, advancing the economic vitality and revitalization of the Walnut Hills neighborhood.
