H.Y.P.E. Working Capital

H.Y.P.E., LLC (Helping Young People Excel) is a licensed and accredited behavioral health services organization. H.Y.P.E. specializes in personalized and professional behavioral healthcare services, including individual, family and group therapy, treatment for depression, and mindfulness techniques. In particular they focus their services on BIPOC youth aged 12 to 25, but have programs for both younger and older participants outside of that range.

H.Y.P.E. is based in Toledo, Ohio.

LISC provided H.Y.P.E. with $100,000 in working capital financing that will be used to pay down an existing revolving line of credit. In recent years, H.Y.P.E. has seen their client base double and has continued to expand programming to meet the increased demand. There are currently 8 full-time therapists on staff, and H.Y.P.E. is hoping hire 4 additional FTEs. Loan proceeds will help free up cash flow to allow these hires to take place, enabling H.Y.P.E. to continue to provide in-demand counseling, case management, and other behavioral healthcare services to the primarily BIPOC and LMI community of Lucas County.
