About the project
Tekton Development was founded in 2016 and is a specialist in developing multifamily and mixed-use projects. Tekton Development is a Detroit-based, minority business enterprise and is pround to invest in and participate in the revitalization of the City of Detroit. Civic Companies was founded in 2019 and is focused on the development of residential and commercial projects in the City of Detroit.
Tekton Development and Civic Companies are both based in Detroit.
LISC provided $2.00 million in financing to support the construction of four new residential buildings, resulting in 13 new units of rental housing. Two of the projects will be in Detroit's North Corktown neighborhood and the other two will be in the North End.
