WinMed at City West

About the project

Winton Hills Medical and Health Center, Inc. (WinMed) was founded in 1972 as a federally qualified health center (FQHC) with 10 service sites throughout Greater Cincinnati. Their portfolio of healthcare facilities includes 7 school-based sites and 3 primary care medical centers. With a specific focus on serving low-income communities and eliminating racial barriers to access, WinMed employs innovative programs to improve community health outcomes.

Winton Hills Medical and Health Center, Inc. is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH.

LISC provided WinMed with $1.30 million in mini-permanent financing to aid in the development of WinMed at City West, a new, 19,640 square foot full-service health center in Cincinnati's City West neighborhood. The development will include 14 exam rooms, 4 dental operatories, 1 mental health counseling room, 1 pregnancy consultation space, and a pharmacy. When complete, the project will allow WinMed to bring in an additional 5,000 patients from 9 surrounding neighborhoods and increase patient encounters to approximately 15,000 visits per year.

WinMed is a non-profit organization providing access to affordable, high quality health care to achieve community health equity for all, including the medically underserved.
