LISC is one of three national organizations to receive a $1 million Gable Grant from the Lowe’s Foundation to support skilled trades workforce development. With the grant, LISC will fund 12 workforce partners serving communities where access to training in the skilled trades has been historically lacking and provide the education and networks needed to access good-paying jobs with growth potential.
