Every neighborhood is a unique tapestry— with many different systems and institutions impacting how it feels to live and work there. That’s why LISC Bay Area’s work crosses many sectors- from finance to housing development- that shape the places we live.
We connect low-income communities of color with the resources, relationships, funding, knowledge, and power they need to create abundant housing and vibrant local businesses.
Through training, technical assistance, and funding, we support local organizations who engage with residents to help their neighborhoods thrive.
We offer loans to projects, people, and organizations for whom traditional banks are inaccessible ensuring that neighborhoods retain their diversity and uniqueness.
We distribute grants to BIPOC entrepreneurs to ensure that they can open and maintain businesses in their neighborhoods.
