Community and Economic Development Partners

Our local partners are tasked with addressing a staggering range of community needs and demands. Organizations that formed to tackle a deficit of affordable housing or neighborhood revitalization may now take on everything from workforce development, small business development, community safety, resident health, disaster and COVID response, community organizing, and more. These organizations are the region’s “delivery system” for creating and preserving safe and affordable housing, equitable economic development, and resident-driven health initiatives.

Through project and organizational development grants, technical assistance, training, and convening through our CDC Network we build the capacity of our on-the-ground partners. LISC provides an array of support to community organizations to help them advance their mission and increase their impact.
