Child Care Centers and Early Childhood Education

As part of our comprehensive community development strategy, Rural LISC promotes the school readiness of young children from low-income families through the efforts of our Partner organizations in rural communities across the country.

By creating Head Start and other early childhood education programs, in centers, child care partner locations, and in residents' homes, the mental, emotional and physical development of children from birth to age five is supported and guided. Goals include early learning, health, and family well-being.
