Maurcus Robinson joined LISC DC in March 2024 as an Assistant Program Officer helping to pave the expansion into Prince George’s County’s Blue Line Corridor.

Maurcus comes to LISC from FSC First, where he served as the Small Business Technical Assistance Coordinator, generating fund reports and connecting Prince George’s County small businesses with technical assistance resources. He got his start as an intern with the City of Mount Rainier’s Department of Economic Development, where he worked directly under the Executive Director to help improve the City’s business districts on Rhode Island Avenue and 34th Street.

Prior to beginning his career in Economic Development, Maurcus obtained a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County during which time he involved himself in organizing for affordable housing within the District of Columbia.
