This year, LISC DC will celebrate its 40th year of working with residents and partners to forge resilient and inclusive communities of opportunity across the Capitol region. We also celebrate our long-term partners who have enabled us to create a more inclusive, equitable and vibrant community, especially The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation.

When COVID-19 struck in March of 2020, LISC turned to its long-standing relationships with nonprofit organizations, foundations, and community leaders, all of whom were standing up to the challenge.
