STOP School-Based Community Violence Intervention (CVI) Kickoff Webinar

This webinar is part of a series for the STOP School Violence Specialized Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Program. Through this program, LISC is helping schools and community partners understand the foundational elements of community violence intervention approaches and sharing guidance on planning and implementing school-based CVI strategies. This program is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance.  

Overview

BJA STOP grantees will have access to specialized training and technical assistance to enhance the capacity of schools to implement community violence intervention programs through the development of tools, resources, and program models. During this kick-off webinar, LISC Safety & Justice defines community violence intervention, introduces you to school-based violence intervention strategies, and identifies how your school can access TTA supports and experts in the field.
