About the project

A&T Iron Works, Inc., founded nearly 50 years ago, is a New York State and New York City Certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) steel manufacturing company. A&T specializes in the fabrication and installation of custom-made miscellaneous, ornamental, and structural (fabrication only) steel products.

A&T Iron Works is located in New Rochelle, NY.

LISC provided a $1.68 million loan to A&T to refinance a higher interest rate loan on their headquarters. Our loan will provide for substantial debt service savings annually that can be invested back into the business. This loan was financed through the Abbott-LISC Supplier Diversity Initiative. Abbott provided financing to LISC which must be deployed as loans to diverse for-profit small businesses that are in or support the healthcare industry.
