Neighborhoods with a thriving, local business community are more resilient and prosperous. That’s why LISC mobilizes funds- through loans and grants- to businesses and community infrastructure that catalyze prosperity for people and communities.
LISC National provides financing to for-profit businesses located in underserved neighborhoods and rural communities where we work. We strategically support businesses in low- and moderate-income communities, and businesses owned by veteran, woman, and minority entrepreneurs.
LISC has a variety of flexible lending products designed to help local groups bring development projects to fruition. We are committed to working with businesses to acquire commercial property, secure construction loans, or expand their business.
LISC and Verizon have partnered to provide over $17.5 million in grants to support 1,700 small businesses and to offer a learning platform for small businesses to plan, manage, and grow their businesses.
